Serge Izquierdo proposes to question, to transcend the very act of producing and consuming images in the Internet and digital age by plunging the viewer into a continuous flow of images in perpetual escape, his work solicits memory sensitivity of the viewer to take him to discover emerging forms, to discover himself. He devoted his work to the capture of matter and its infinite recycling, exploring the tiny folds of the images that surrounded him, through techniques such as zooming, blurring and the exploration of fractal dimensions.

Trained at the "Conservatoire et ateliers d’arts plastiques" of Ivry sur Seine, he abandoned reassuring sharpness as early as 1992 to favor blur and fractal dimensions, reflecting a more nuanced truth of reality. Since 2009, he has accumulated thousands of photographs, with his PADS series evoking Gerhard Richter’s Atlas. Since 2018, his research has shifted toward uncovering hidden forms behind the saturated imagery of our environment, using techniques such as zooming, blurring, and the exploration of fractal dimensions.
